Ski touring course

New to backountry skiing ? Join a course and learn to plan and carrying out your own safe tours. The courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge to start exploring the backcountry on skins and to make your tours.

We start with how you can make a plan using a map, read the forecast and avalanche warnings. Learn how to make safe route choices on the way up, and find safe descends, with nice snowconditions for skiing. If you need tips for skiing technique on varying snow cover, we will spend some time on it. We do a thorough review of avalanche equipment and rescue, as well as what you should have in your backpack.
